Don't Take My Word For It

Here's what people say after working with me.

Before speaking to Matt, I was quite hesitant about AI and reluctant to look into it due to how much of an unknown it was for us. Matt's support was very useful for our book publishing business and really opened my eyes. Matt's knowledge of what's possible blew my mind and really challenged us to think about the future plans for the business and how we can really leverage AI. Thanks to Matt, we've managed to increase efficiencies in our business and save thousands on staff costs already, with just a few simple AI tools. I'd highly recommend having a chat with Matt if you're considering using AI in your business!

I'm a brand designer and AI isn't a new concept to me, but my relationship with it has always been surface level. I knew what it could do in theory, I just never quite saw where it fit in my actual day-to-day, but Matt changed that. Lately I've been really stuck on a project. Weeks of going round in circles trying to figure out how to build something specific for users in my website. I went back to my notes from Matt's session and thought, could I actually use AI for this? Within an hour, I had built it from start to finish! Matt didn't introduce me to AI, but he completely widened my horizons on what's possible with it. He took something that felt abstract and distant to me and turned it into something I'll now use with way deeper intentions to run my business. Thanks Matt!

This is where the real value lives.

I share everything I'm learning about AI, business, and building things that matter.

The honest take

Are you frustrated that you are not getting results with AI despite using the tools?

You have tried the tools.

You have used ChatGPT. You have played with automations. You have probably signed up for software you were told would save you hours, unlock growth, and make your business run smoother.

But if you are being honest, it has not changed much.

You are still too involved in everything. Your team still waits on you. Your processes still rely on manual work, memory, chasing, checking, repeating, and fixing things that should not need fixing. You still have too many conversations happening in too many places. You still lose time to tasks that should already be automated.

And the business still feels heavier than it should.

That is the bit most founders do not want to admit.

The problem is not that AI does not work. The problem is that you are trying to use AI on top of a business that already has bottlenecks, weak processes, and too much dependency on you.

AI will not fix that by itself.

It will expose it.

Most businesses do not have an AI problem

Most businesses do not have a growth problem either.

They have a bottleneck problem.

Usually, the bottleneck is not the market. It is not the leads. It is not the team. It is not the software.

It is the way the business is currently operating.

And in a lot of founder-led businesses, the uncomfortable truth is this:

You are the bottleneck. And until that changes, nothing scales properly.

You might not like that. Most people do not.

But deep down, you probably already know it.

You are still approving too much. You are still answering questions your team should not need to ask. You are still holding knowledge in your head instead of inside systems. You are still making decisions that should be supported by data, process, and automation. You are still spending time on work that someone else, or something else, should already be handling.

That is why AI has not delivered the results you expected.

You have been looking for better tools when you should have been looking for the constraint.

What we do, in a nutshell

I help founders and entrepreneurs find what is broken in their business and fix it fast using AI and automation.

Not in theory. Not through endless strategy decks. Not with vague promises about "digital transformation".

I look at how your business actually works. I find the friction. I identify where time is being wasted, where work is being duplicated, where your team is slowing down, where customers are falling through gaps, where leads are being missed, and where you are still sitting in the middle of decisions, approvals, admin, communication, and delivery.

Then we work out what needs to change.

Sometimes that means AI. Sometimes that means automation. Sometimes that means a better process before anything gets automated. Sometimes it means admitting that the system you have built around yourself cannot support the business you say you want to grow.

That is the point.

This is not about using AI because AI is fashionable.

It is about using AI where it creates leverage.

You do not need more tools. You need a diagnosis.

The market is full of people selling AI tools, prompts, templates, courses, and "growth hacks".

That is not what most founders need.

Most founders need someone to look at the business from the outside and say the thing everyone else is avoiding.

  • This is too slow.
  • This should not be manual.
  • Your team should not need you for that.
  • That process is broken.
  • That follow-up is leaking money.
  • That task should already be automated.
  • That decision should not live in your head.

That is what I do.

In one conversation, I can usually show you what is broken. Once you see it, you cannot unsee it.

That is where the value is.

Not in another shiny platform. Not in another list of AI tools. Not in another vague conversation about innovation.

The value is in finding the real bottleneck and removing it.

Why AI has not worked for you yet

AI only works properly when it is applied to the right problem.

If your sales process is messy, AI will not magically make it consistent. If your operations are unclear, automation will only help you move confusion around faster. If your team does not know where information lives, adding another tool will not fix the underlying problem. If you are still the person everyone depends on, AI will not scale the business until that dependency is addressed.

This is where most companies get it wrong.

They start with the tool.

They should start with the bottleneck.

Because once you know what is really slowing the business down, the right AI use cases become obvious.

What You Think the Problem IsWhat the Real Problem Often IsWhat Needs to Happen
“We need more leads.”Leads are not being followed up properly, nurtured consistently, or converted efficiently.Fix the sales workflow, automate follow-up, and improve visibility.
“The team is too busy.”The team is doing repetitive manual work that should not exist.Identify low-value tasks and automate or redesign them.
“We need better marketing.”Your positioning, content process, and execution rhythm are inconsistent.Build a sharper content and campaign system supported by AI.
“We need better software.”Your current systems are not being used properly, or the process behind them is broken.Diagnose the workflow before adding more tools.
“I just need to work harder.”You are still central to too many decisions and approvals.Remove founder dependency and build scalable operating systems.

This is why a generic AI implementation does not work.

Your business does not need a generic answer.

It needs the right diagnosis.

The uncomfortable part

If you want polite reassurance, this probably is not for you.

I am not here to tell you that everything is nearly working and you just need a few prompts.

If something is broken, I will say it. If you are wasting time, I will show you where. If your team is stuck because everything still runs through you, I will point that out. If you are using AI as a distraction from the harder operational work, we will deal with that too.

That does not mean making things complicated.

It means making them clear.

The right conversation should leave you thinking:

I do not particularly like hearing that. But he is right.

That is where progress starts.

Are you ready to grow your business using AI?

Then stop treating AI like a toy and start treating it like leverage.

If you are serious about growth, you need to know where AI can actually help your business make progress. You need to know what should be automated, what should be delegated, what should be removed, and what should be rebuilt properly.

You need to know where your time is being wasted.

You need to know what is slowing the business down.

You need to know which parts of the business are dependent on you when they should not be.

That is what the audit is for.

The AI Bottleneck Audit

The first step is an AI Bottleneck Audit with me.

This is not a fluffy discovery call. It is not a six-month strategy exercise. It is not a generic chat about AI tools.

It is a direct diagnostic conversation designed to identify where your business is leaking time, energy, money, and growth.

We look at how your business operates now, where AI and automation can create immediate leverage, and what is stopping the business from scaling cleanly.

The audit can be done over Zoom or in person, depending on your location, requirements, and budget.

A Zoom audit is usually the fastest way to get clarity. An in-person audit may make more sense if your business has more moving parts, a larger team, or operational complexity that needs to be seen and understood properly.

Either way, the outcome is the same.

You will leave knowing what is broken, what needs to change, and where AI can actually make a commercial difference.

What we will look at

During the audit, we will examine the areas of the business where bottlenecks usually hide. Some will be obvious. Some will not. The most expensive ones are often the ones you have normalised.

AreaWhat I Am Looking ForWhy It Matters
Founder dependencyDecisions, approvals, knowledge, and communication that still rely on you.If everything needs you, the business cannot scale without dragging you with it.
Repetitive workManual tasks that happen every week and should already be automated. This is where time, margin, and energy disappear quietly.
Sales processMissed follow-ups, inconsistent outreach, weak qualification, and poor pipeline visibility.Growth is harder when leads are leaking through a broken process.
Client deliveryHandover gaps, duplicated effort, unclear ownership, and slow internal communication.Better delivery creates better capacity, retention, and profitability.
Marketing executionSlow content production, unclear messaging, inconsistent campaigns, and scattered ideas.AI can accelerate output, but only when the message and process are clear.
Systems and toolsPlatforms that are underused, disconnected, duplicated, or creating more work.More software is not the answer if the operating system is broken.
Team productivityPeople waiting for answers, repeating work, or lacking clear AI use cases.Your team needs practical workflows, not another abstract AI briefing.

This is not about making your business look clever.

It is about making it work better.

What happens after the audit

Once the bottlenecks are clear, we decide what needs to happen next.

That might mean building automations. It might mean redesigning workflows. It might mean creating AI-assisted sales, marketing, operations, or customer service processes. It might mean training your team to use AI properly in the context of their actual work. It might mean removing tools you do not need and tightening the systems you already have.

The answer depends on the diagnosis.

That is the whole point.

No generic playbook. No pretending every business needs the same stack. No wasting time on AI use cases that sound impressive but do not move the business forward.

We find what is slowing you down, then fix it.

Who this is for

This is for founders and entrepreneurs who are serious about scaling and are willing to hear the truth about what is getting in the way.

It is for people who know AI matters but are tired of vague advice, tool lists, and surface-level conversations.

It is for business owners who are busy, stretched, and too involved in the daily running of the company, but who also know that simply working harder is not the answer.

It is for you if you are ready to stop experimenting and start making AI useful.

It is probably not for you if you want someone to tell you that the business is already set up perfectly and all you need is a clever prompt.

Let's find the bottleneck

If you are not getting results with AI despite using the tools, there is a reason.

And it is probably not the reason you think.

Something in the business is slowing things down. Something is too manual. Something is unclear. Something depends on you too much. Something is being tolerated because everyone has got used to working around it.

That is what we need to find.

Then we fix it with the right combination of AI, automation, process, and execution.

If you are ready to grow your business using AI, start with the audit.

Book an AI Bottleneck Audit with me and we will look at what is really going on.

Be warned: you might not like everything you hear.

But you will know exactly what needs to change.
